Skey is a Remote Measuring, Dispatching, & Receiving Device located at a remote physical location and centrally managed via Internet. Each Skey has its location finger print and custom adapters for its contents. Typical applications of Skey are:
- Software Licensing: using as a metering device to check legal usage of software according to the software license rules. The rules are securely updated via Internet.
- Time sheet: Centrally collecting working time of contract workers and process collected time according to corporate complex business rules.
- Remote Data and Instruction Collection: Collecting data either from a remote SCADA device or manufacturing unit and dispatched to a central monitoring system, and/or receiving instruction from the monitoring system and execute the instruction on the located physical device.
